Year 2096, April 16th:

Final Report for Incident at VC Labs Corp #2515 aka Victor Crumps Laboratories Corporation

Location: {REDACTED}

As per state regulation, all activity and the purpose of the facility is classified information which is why this report will have many sections redacted. This also applies to the names and purpose of each staff member who were working there at the time. Other information as per the instruction of the Head Chief of the Internal Affairs and Investigations Office was also redacted.

Laboratory #2515 is of the many thousands within the nation that are funding and run by VC Labs Corp in collaboration with the United States Government as VC Labs Corp has both the expertise by its staff and scientists and facilities to run scientific analysis. This was an agreement and federal contract signed in 2050 of which in exchange for government funding, VC Labs Corp will provide the US Government with access to laboratory testing for military and use across all spectrums of scientific experimentation. The company and US officials has agreed to a Non-Disclosure Agreement of which all activity at the facilities are confidential and protected. Anyone who breaks this contract will be met legal liability and federal charges.

Laboratory #2515 is a special case as its one of seven that are marked as isolation facilities. Staff is sent there for six month periods to work and live at the complex.

On February 24th 2096, VC Labs Corp #2515 made its final video call. The call was routine according to {REDACTED} who was on the call with the Chief Scientist of the lab.

Statement from {REDACTED}:We spoke briefly and there were no major issues to report. Professor {REDACTED} spoke of a problem he was having with some of his staff becoming more tired then usual. I think it may have been burn out as they have been out there for longer then what’s usually pre-planned. Normally we are only there for half a year but they have been there for almost one year. We ended the call soon after discussing this as I would bring it up to my supervisor. We tried to call them again after 1-2 weeks for our check in but they did not answer. We assumed they had an equipment failure so we tried other methods of communication including our emergency phone which has a direct line to Professor {REDACTED} office. When no one answered after several attempts we then contacted the Internal Affairs office for assistance.

Three investigators were sent to #2515 on March 8th, 2096. Arriving at the facility, they found no sign or indication of human activity. No one answered any video or intercom calls.

The area was small, the initial a sweep of the buildings took only five-six hours. Besides the main laboratory, there were only several surrounding buildings which included two for residential use, a vehicle and regular storage warehouse, a storage cooler designed for food use only, and the utility shed for pumping water and electricity throughout the compound. One investigator did note that the food unit was very low on supplies. Containing around a month’s supply left.

The facility was surrounded by an electric fence and gate that could only be opened by staff and government officials with a key card. The fence had no signs of being tampered with and was operating normally.

The investigators found the surrounding buildings were completely clean. No signs of violent entry or an aggressive episode by the staff (one theory of the investigators was an altercation had occurred among the staff in perhaps a strike or walk out but no evidence of this was found).

NOTE***This theory is in reference to a strike that had occurred at Lab #376 where staff and scientists were in a wage dispute with their supervisors as well as safety concerns not been handled by the company properly. The strike took place five months prior to the event at Lab #2515.

The main laboratory was deemed were the incident had occurred. Multiple bullet holes were found in walls and shattered glass littered the floor. Two staff members were found in the first hallway from the entrance. Cause of death was {REDACTED}.

The floors and walls were covered in…

Entering the head office, a collection of documents were uncovered by investigators. The contents were day to day updates by the Chief Scientist at Lab #2515 on experiments, important findings, staff evaluations, and other things of note. The documents are dated back to one year from the day when the team was assigned to the facility for their six month period. As per VC Labs Corp compliance, the Chief Scientist must fill out a daily report then filed which is then given to their superiors at the end of their assigned period. Any missed days or missing information will be punishable by suspension from duties or possible removal from VC Lab Corp.

These were collected by the investigators and sent to the Head Office of Internal Affairs.

Upon returning investigators…..
